Privacy notice

Version 2026-10-27b. This notice covers the InboxHaven website. The InboxHaven app is still in development and will have its own privacy notice before launch.

The short version

We only count anonymous Yes and No clicks. The website collects no personal data and uses no cookies.

Who we are

The website is run by Thor, trading as InboxHaven. Contact: hello@inboxhaven.co.uk.

The Yes / No vote

When you tap Yes or No, we store just two things: your answer and the day (for example 27 October 2026). We don't store your IP address, the time, your device or anything else that could identify you, and we can't link a vote to a person. We use the totals to decide whether to build the app.

If you email us

If you email hello@inboxhaven.co.uk, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): answering the message you sent us. We don't add you to any list, and we delete the email once the conversation is finished unless you ask us to keep in touch. Mail sent to this address is forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare's Email Routing service.

Cookies, storage and tracking

No cookies, no localStorage or sessionStorage, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. The website doesn't load fonts or scripts from any other company.

Our hosting provider

The website and its vote counter are hosted by Cloudflare, with the vote database kept in the EU. Like any web host, Cloudflare has to handle technical connection details, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and protect it from abuse (for example, limiting how often one connection can vote). Cloudflare does this under its own security and data processing terms. These details don't reach our vote database, and we don't see them.

Sharing

We never sell data, and we don't share anything with anyone for their own use.

Your rights

Because votes are anonymous, we can't find, show or delete an individual vote. If you've emailed us, you have the rights UK GDPR gives you: to see, correct or delete what we hold, and to object. Email hello@inboxhaven.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or call 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update the version at the top. We'll rewrite it before collecting anything new.
